Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Mill Arts Center and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 448 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in school partnerships. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
