Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Spokane, WA)

Clearpath Mill Arts Center is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in visitor services. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
