Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Seattle, WA)

Lumen Bright Press is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in customer orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
