Senior UX Designer - research and testing (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Meadow Insurance is an insurance company in San Diego with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
