Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Salt Lake City, UT)

Highbridge River Press Group is a printer and publisher in Salt Lake City serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
