Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Salt Lake City, UT)

Nova Junction Insurance is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
