Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath North Insurance Partners is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
