Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Ivory Health is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 896 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in electronic records. • Experience running usability tests.
