Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Rochester, NY)

Amberfield Summit Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Families are partners. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
