Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Juniper Banking Services and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 598 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in loan files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
