Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Haven Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 572 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
