Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Sable Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Rochester. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around payment disputes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in payment disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
