Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Richmond, VA)

Westbrook Wilder Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Richmond, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in store inventory. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
