Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Wilder Pharma and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in batch records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
