Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Lumen Amber Early Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in classroom supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
