Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Summit Fern Arts Center Partners is an arts centre in Tucson with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 795 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around visitor services that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in visitor services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
