Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Ironwood Health is an early-learning provider in Oakland. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
