Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Ironwood Vista Medical Group is a Fort Worth company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
