Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Nova Works is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 10 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
