Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Ironwood Wilder Medical Partners is a Jackson company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
