Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bluepeak Iron Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Austin area. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 734 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
