Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Silverline Amber Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Hartford. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in training materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
