Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Ironwood Pike Press is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around paper stock that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
