Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Westbrook Wilder Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
