Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Foxglove Forge Arts Center is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in ticketing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
