Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Granite Markets and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
