Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Nest Press and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 281 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in bindery work. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
