Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Fernwood Bright Medical designs and makes medical devices in Baltimore, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 107 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
