Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Greenridge Hollow Transit Planning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
