Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Kestrel Markets Associates and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
