Senior UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Summit Sparrow Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Memphis. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 349 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in school partnerships. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
