Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Ember Community Partners and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in food distribution. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
