Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Raleigh, NC)

Ironwood Sparrow Health is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 109 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient education. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
