Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Providence, RI)

Silverline Beacon Press Group produces print and digital publications in Providence. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in paper stock. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
