Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Keystone Arts Center and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in school partnerships. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
