Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Phoenix, AZ)

Lumen Junction Financial is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
