Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood North Early Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
