Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Philadelphia, PA)

Cedar Mill Transit Planning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
