Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Ember Learning Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 566 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
