Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Wren Arts Center and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in volunteer programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
