Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Orlando, FL)

Cedar Thistle Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Orlando. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
