Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Oakland, CA)

Bluepeak Vista Financial is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for account servicing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in account servicing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
