Senior UX Designer - research and testing (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Arts Center Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in school partnerships. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
