Senior UX Designer - research and testing (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Wilder Insurance and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in policy renewals. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
