Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak Junction Financial serves customers across Minneapolis with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 112 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around customer onboarding that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
