Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Miami, FL)

Harborlight West Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Miami. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in school partnerships. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
