Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Cobalt Early Learning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
