Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Memphis, TN)

Nova Lantern Insurance Group is an insurance company in Memphis with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 98 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
