Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Memphis, TN)

Bluepeak Birch Arts Center Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in exhibitions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
