Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Lumen Granite Learning Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 146 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
